Desi is our first homebred Hall of Fame Dam. She earned her HOF with two offspring in competition (both owned by us) from only two litters with a total of 9 puppies produced. Multiple puppies went to pet homes that could have finished very easily. Some did show as puppies with success and also worked stock on farms. Both offspring that have been showed/trialed have won multiple BOB’s, HIT obedience, HIT Stock, and Most Versatile Aussie awards. The requirements for her title were finished by Ty on October 20, 2007 when he qualified in advanced ducks to finish his title. He also went HIT that day with a advanced sheep score of 112!
Desi is a very eager to please girl. She finished her Championship with 3-5point majors and a four point major. She also earned a Best of Breed and multiple Best of Winners along the way. Desi only went through the started stock levels as she started her career rather late, but she earned multiple Most Promising Started Aussie awards in multiple species of stock. She qualified 6/6 runs to finish her titles. She also started obedience rather late but finished her CD easily with nice scores. Heather trained her in both stock and obedience. She is now retired and enjoys rough housing with the youngsters and accompanying them on sled rides (AKA running along side/in front/in the middle/behind/on top of the rest of the team)

We feel that she produced many puppies that could have easily finished but the right families came along who happened to be non-competition homes.. One son (CarMel Ace is High) was to be shown but unfortunately was hit by an Amtrak train as a puppy, and while he survived, he was not longer able to compete. Another daughter (CarMel Stalwart Lucille) was stolen from her families yard. Any information on this beautiful girls whereabouts is greatly appreciated.
